Terms & Conditions

Welcome to LuDog Pet Care LLC (“LuDog,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking any service, using our website, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Company Information

LuDog Pet Care LLC is a Florida limited liability company providing professional pet care services throughout Nassau County, Florida.  

2. Services

Services may include:

  • Dog Walking

  • Pet Sitting

  • Drop-In Visits

  • Overnight Pet Sitting

  • Puppy Care

  • Senior Pet Care

  • Medication Administration (when approved)

  • Pet Transportation (when offered)

  • Other services listed on our website.

Availability is never guaranteed until confirmed by LuDog.

3. Eligibility

You represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.

  • You are the legal owner or authorized caretaker of the pet(s).

  • You have authority to authorize veterinary treatment if necessary.

4. Pet Health Requirements

Clients certify that pets:

  • are current on legally required vaccinations;

  • are free of contagious diseases;

  • have disclosed all behavioral concerns;

  • have disclosed any bite history;

  • are safe to handle under normal circumstances.

Failure to disclose behavioral or medical conditions may result in immediate termination of services.

5. Aggressive Animals

LuDog reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if a pet displays:

  • aggression

  • dangerous behavior

  • repeated escape attempts

  • unsafe handling conditions

The Client remains responsible for payment for scheduled services up to the point services are discontinued.

6. Veterinary Emergencies

If LuDog reasonably believes emergency veterinary care is necessary, Client authorizes LuDog to:

  • seek veterinary treatment;

  • transport the pet;

  • follow veterinary recommendations until Client can be reached.

Client agrees to reimburse all veterinary expenses.

LuDog will make reasonable efforts to contact Client before treatment whenever practical.

7. Keys & Property Access

Client agrees to provide safe access to the property.

Client is responsible for:

  • functioning locks

  • alarm instructions

  • gate codes

  • access instructions

LuDog is not responsible for service interruptions caused by inaccessible properties.

8. Home Security

Client acknowledges that LuDog employees or contractors may enter and leave the residence during scheduled visits.

Client accepts responsibility for:

  • locking windows

  • securing valuables

  • maintaining working alarm systems

9. Weather & Safety

LuDog reserves the right to modify visit duration, walking routes, or scheduling due to:

  • hurricanes

  • flooding

  • lightning

  • dangerous temperatures

  • unsafe road conditions

  • other events affecting safety.

10. Dog Walking

Walks are performed using reasonable care.

Client acknowledges that:

  • dogs may encounter wildlife;

  • dogs may become dirty;

  • weather conditions may vary;

  • normal risks associated with outdoor exercise exist.

11. Medication

Medication will only be administered when:

  • instructions are provided in writing;

  • medication is clearly labeled;

  • LuDog agrees to administer it.

LuDog cannot guarantee successful administration if a pet refuses medication.

12. Cancellations

Cancellation policy:

  • More than 24 hours: no charge.

  • Less than 24 hours: up to 50% service fee.

  • Same-day cancellations: full service charge may apply.

Holiday reservations may have different cancellation policies.

13. No Shows

If LuDog arrives and cannot access the home or pet:

  • the visit will be considered completed;

  • the scheduled fee remains due.

14. Payment

Payment is due:

  • at booking unless otherwise agreed;

  • through approved payment methods.

Late payments may incur:

  • late fees;

  • suspension of future bookings.

15. Photographs

Client grants LuDog permission to photograph pets during services.

Photos may be used:

  • visit reports;

  • client updates;

  • marketing materials;

  • website and social media.

Clients may opt out in writing.

16. GPS and Visit Reports

LuDog may use:

  • GPS tracking

  • visit timestamps

  • visit notes

  • photographs

to document completed services.

These records are considered accurate evidence of services performed.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law:

LuDog shall not be liable for:

  • illness occurring after visits;

  • natural causes;

  • escape due to defective fencing;

  • pre-existing medical conditions;

  • acts of other animals;

  • acts of third parties;

  • unavoidable accidents.

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service except where prohibited by law.

18. Property Damage

Client agrees to hold LuDog harmless for damage caused by Client’s pet, including:

  • scratched floors

  • chewed property

  • damaged landscaping

  • injuries caused by the pet

LuDog is responsible only for damage resulting from proven negligence.

19. Release of Liability

Client voluntarily assumes all ordinary risks associated with pet ownership and pet care services.

20. Indemnification

Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LuDog Pet Care LLC, its owner, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims arising from:

  • Client’s pet

  • inaccurate information

  • undisclosed behavioral issues

  • injuries caused by the pet

  • violations of these Terms

21. Force Majeure

LuDog shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from events beyond reasonable control including:

  • hurricanes

  • floods

  • power outages

  • pandemics

  • government actions

  • civil emergencies

  • severe weather

22. Insurance

LuDog maintains commercial liability insurance appropriate for the services it provides. Insurance coverage is subject to the terms, exclusions, deductibles, and limits of the applicable policy and should not be interpreted as expanding LuDog’s contractual liability.  

23. Privacy

Client information is used only to:

  • schedule services

  • communicate with Clients

  • maintain pet records

  • process payments

  • comply with legal obligations

LuDog does not sell Client personal information.

24. Intellectual Property

All content on the LuDog website, including:

  • logos

  • photographs

  • graphics

  • text

  • branding

is owned by LuDog Pet Care LLC.

No content may be reproduced without written permission.

25. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Any legal action shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court located in or serving Nassau County, Florida.

26. Changes

LuDog may update these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication on the website.

27. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any signed Service Agreement, Pet Profile, Veterinary Release, and Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between the parties.
